I can’t see my DESK tokens in my MetaMask wallet even though the transfer was successful. How can I find my tokens?

Web3 wallets can be finicky and sometimes they do not automatically recognize custom tokens. To see your DESK in your MetaMask wallet, you’ll need to import the token.

Importing custom tokens on MetaMask

1. First, you’ll need the token address. This is the admin address that minted the token. DESK’s contract address is: 

0xecfb24be40f88d66bb7a14a4bc7f22bdf6841a93

Copy this address onto your device’s clipboard.

2. Return to MetaMask and click [Import tokens].
3. Paste DESK’s contract address and MetaMask should automatically fill in the rest of the details. If not, add them manually. To finish, click [Add Custom Token].

Usually you only need to enter the contract address for the other fields to automatically appear. If this doesn’t happen, DESK is the token symbol and the Token Decimal is 18)

4. Click [Import Tokens].
5. Your wallet will now successfully display the balance of DESK added.
