I created CoinDesk accounts with an email address and with social media. Can I join multiple accounts?

We have a one-account-to-one-user policy, and we’ll be working with users to merge their accounts as we identify them.
Merged accounts will also combine transaction histories. So when both accounts have identical claims, the merged account will only reflect the earliest claim. All unique claims will be added to the merged account’s balance.
