Creating an account is easy. To get started, go to the top right corner of your screen on coindesk.com and click “Log In / Create Account” (if on desktop) or the person icon (if on mobile).
Next, choose between logging in or creating an account. If you don’t have an account, select “Create Account” near the bottom-right corner of the screen. (Note: If you’d like to sign up for a coindesk.com account using your Facebook or LinkedIn account, simply log in with your preferred option on this screen to create an account.)
After you click “Create Account,” you’ll be able to sign up for a CoinDesk account by entering your email, name and password. You can also create an account by connecting your Facebook or Linkedin profile. Once you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, you’ll be asked to verify your email.
Open the email sent from CoinDesk (check that the email is coming from the coindesk.com domain), and follow the instructions to verify your email.
You’ll then get a chance to earn your first DESK tokens by telling us a little about yourself. First, earn 15 DESK by selecting which best describes you from a list of options. Then, earn 15 more DESK by choosing the topics you find most interesting.
